Pray the Rosary on 3 October!

Our Lady at Brompton Oratory

Unfortunately, the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions make this year's public procession extremely difficult, if not impossible.  However, no one can prevent us praying the rosary!  Devotees of Our Lady are therefore requested to pray the rosary on the planned date of this year's Crusade (3 October 2020) at 1:45 pm for an end to the current pandemic and in reparation for the sins against the Immaculate Heart.  It would be great if everyone could pray all 15 decades, but 5 is more than acceptable.  We hope to see you in person next October, God Willing!

Rosary Crusade 2019

Fr. Lawrence Lew, O.P.
Happy Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows!  The Rosary Crusade this year is on Saturday, 12 October 2019 and we are pleased that Fr. Lawrence Lew has agreed our invitation to lead the rosary and preach at the Crusade.  You are requested to assemble outside Westminster Cathedral from 1:45 pm and we walk, of course, to the Brompton Oratory (a distance of about a mile and a half).  We arrive at the Oratory at about 3:15 pm, where Our Lady is met by our chaplain, Fr. Ronald Creighton-Jobe.  Our Lady is received at the Church with appropriate ceremony and then we have our devotions of prayers and hymns, Solemn Benediction, and the final hymn, "Faith of Our Fathers."  Following the Crusade, there is an opportunity, for those not already enrolled, to enrol in the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  We hope to see you there in your thousands!

Rosary Crusade 2018

Our dear Fr Ronald Creighton-Jobe, Spiritual Director of the Crusade, will preach at the 2018 Crusade as well as his usual duties.  Fr. Creighton-Jobe is a very accomplished preacher, so we look forward to hearing what he has to say.  Please join us this Saturday, 13 October 2018, for the 34th Annual National Rosary Crusade of Reparation.  The Crusade starts outside Westminster Cathedral and those wishing to take part are asked to congregate at 1:45pm.  Pray for good weather, but do come to pray and make reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Relive the 2017 Crusade here.

Rosary Crusade 2017

On 3 September 2017, Scotland was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  We are very pleased that one of the Bishops present at that Consecration is joining us for this year's Rosary Crusade of Reparation.   Bishop John Keenan of Paisley will lead the Crusade.  It is 100 years since Our Lady visited Fatima and asked the young shepherd children to pray the rosary and do sacrifice for sinners.  100 years!  It was a simple message, but how many of us are able to pray the rosary daily as Our Lady requested?  The errors of Russia have spread throughout the world as was predicted because this message wasn't sufficiently heeded.  Pray the rosary and, on Saturday, 14 October, join us for a very public rosary on the streets of London carrying before us the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima which was consecrated by Pope Pius XII as a pilgrim statue for England and Wales.  Let us get the spiritual boots on the streets in this centenary year to give witness to our Catholic Faith, living still in spite of dungeon, fire and sword, and to give honour to the Mother of God in the Month of the Holy Rosary!

Rosary Crusade 8 October 2016 -- Pray for an end to Abortion!

"If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church". (Our Lady's Words at Fatima 13 July 1917).

It may come as no surprise that Russia was the first country in the world to legalise abortion.  The  Bolshevik government legalised abortion only 3 years after Our Lady's words at Fatima.  There is no question that this particular error has spread throughout the world and today, around 50 million children a year are killed in the womb.  The Rosary Crusade has been approached by one of the local 40 days for Life  groups to pray specifically for the closure of the Abortion clinic in Twickenham which they are targeting with their prayers and witness this year.  Let us therefore pray for this intention and for the protection of unborn babies worldwide.  It is only Divine intervention, through the intercession of Our Lady, which will stop this mass slaughter of the innocents.

Come, with rosaries at the ready, to Westminster Cathedral (1:45 pm) on Saturday!
