Rosary Crusade 2021

Rosary Crusade passes Harrods

After no Crusade in 2020, it was great to be back on the streets of London giving honour to the Queen of Heaven.  The Marian Franciscans led the rosary though the streets of the Capital to "drive evil out of the streets of London and fill the street with beautiful MARIAN flowers." (Fr. Philomeno).  Following the usual route from Westminster Cathedral to the Brompton Oratory, the Crusade of 1,100 souls sang and prayed in the warm autumn sunshine giving praise to God and His Blessed Mother.  Fr Ronald Creighton-Jobe (Cong. Orat.) greeted Our Lady on the steps of the great Church and we prayed the Litany of Loreto, the Fatima prayers, and made our Consecration to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Following the lovely Fatima Hymn, Father gave a final blessing to conclude a lovely afternoon.  Next year, please God, we will be back inside the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary where we can better honour the Queen of Heaven and the "fruit of her womb",  Our Lord Jesus,  in the Blessed Sacrament.

Rosary Crusade Rises from the Dead!

We are pleased to confirm that the Rosary Crusade will now take place on 9 October 2021!  We will have the lovely public procession in honour of Our Lady and recitation of the rosary enroute.  Due to concerns about the very large numbers in a confined space at the Oratory Church, there will be only a short ceremony outside the Church to conclude the Crusade and, sadly, no opportunity for scapular enrolment.  Please let everyone know as the time for advertising is very short!

Eucharistic Octave 11 to 19 September 2021

The Westminster Parishes of Maiden Lane, Warwick Street, Spanish Place and Farm Street with the Ukrainian Cathedral and the Order of Malta, invite you to a week of celebrations, centred on the Blessed Sacrament. With travel restrictions preventing many people from travelling to Hungary for the International Eucharistic Congress taking place in Budapest in September, the event will be marked in London with a week of Masses, Adoration and, to close the Octave, The Annual Corpus Christi Procession through the heart of London’s Regent Street from Warwick Street to Spanish Place. Further details can be found at www.catholiclondon.org.

NB:  We are hoping that the Rosary Crusade will proceed as usual this year on 9 October 2021, but this is subject to final confirmation from various authorities.
